I’m Judith, an illustrator from Germany with a love for all things weird and wonderful.

I specialize in digital illustrations for children’s and young adult books, with a soft spot for quirky creatures like monsters, dragons, and vampires—the stranger, the better!

My favourite painting tools are the 6B and HB pencils - both digitally and analogue - they make it easier for me to create scribbly, lively characters und fantastic worlds.

What else should you know about me?

I like: listening to music (loudly and as much as I possibly can), playing the guitar and singing, cool, odd and fantastic (children’s-)(Comic-)books, great TV-shows like Doctor Who, David Tennant (no surprise now mentioning my favorite TV-series, isn’t it?), Dinosaurs, the band 10CC, rice pudding with a cinnamon-topping (all year, especially on my birthday), autumn

I don’t like: balloons, doing my taxes, stinky cheese, being scared (this includes ghost rides, sudden, loud noises and really disturbing horror movies - though I love spooky stuff and creatures like vampires and ghosts, but only if the scary bits are somewhat predictable and not too psycho - gosh this was a long explanation), marzipan and jelly sweets (this is - in my opinion - totally understandable and needs NO further explanation - it’s just that kind of food that multiplies in your mouth once put in there and doesn’t want to be swallowed.)
